The Collective 3-on-3 Classic
Join us for The Collective’s first annual 3-on-3 Tournament on March 8, 2026, in celebration of International Women’s Day.
This event is dedicated to the advancement of our mission - continuing the growth of women’s basketball culture in San Diego by bringing players, fans, and the community together.
Spectators are welcome to come out and enjoy the day—featuring giveaways, music, prizes, and more. Come support, connect, and celebrate women in basketball.
All proceeds benefit our mission and programs dedicated to growing and elevating women’s basketball.

$250 per team.
Round Robin (2 pools)
Guaranteed 3-4 games.
Bring your own jerseys + team names.
Team Captain is responsible for registering team and submitting payment.
Team Registration deadline February 13th.
Team Captain must submit final rosters by February 27th via google form.
Form will be sent upon registration.

No team required- free agents will be placed on balanced teams prior to the event.
Up to 5 players per team.
Round Robin (2 pools)
Guaranteed 3-4 games.
Free agents will be provided jerseys for the duration of the event and must return them afterward.
Teams will be created by The Hoopers Collective, and free agents will be connected to their teammates by March 1st.

Emergency roster substitutions are at the discretion of The Hooper’s Collective and will rarely be granted.

Yes! We encourage spectators and welcome anyone who wants to support women’s basketball.

No t-shirts. Players must wear numbered reversible jerseys.

The tournament is open to women ages 18+ of all skill levels.

Teams consist of 5 players (3 players on the court, with 2 substitutes)

Yes, sign up as a “Free Agent,” and The Hoopers Collective organizers will place you on a team based on skill level and position. The Hoopers Collective will notify you when you have been placed on a team and will share contact information of your team mates.

Pool play (two pools of 5 teams each)
Games will be played on a half-court
Top 2 teams advance to championship game to determine the winner
Each team is guaranteed multiple games.
10-minute games
5-minute breaks between games
Running clock except for the last minute of play
Baskets inside the arc = 1 point
Baskets beyond the arc = 2 points

Yes. Paid referees will officiate all games.

Yes. By registering, participants agree to a photo/video release allowing event media to be used for promotional purposes.
